As a personal mission, driven by family history on both sides, I chose to specialise in cardiology and learn as much as I could. By the age of 25, I became a Nursing Sister in Cardiac Rehab. With increasing NHS pressures, I soon became anxious and stressed, feeling overworked, undervalued, and underpaid. I also felt my time freedom and creativity were being stifled.
After struggling with acne for 18 years, I self-healed and saw a huge gap in the market for help with skin issues. As a new mum, I nervously took the leap and set up my own clinic back in 2010.
Injectables terrified me, but I stuck to my values and would only treat people in a very natural, elegant way. A way that helped someone look fresh, without trying to change them or make them look false or overdone.
This steadfast ethos has helped me grow and retain a loyal client base and become the go-to practitioner for natural-looking results.
You encounter costly mistakes, learn what works well and what doesn’t. As a teacher, I believe you must never stop learning. I regularly keep up to date with industry masterclasses and I pass on new knowledge and techniques to my students and clients.
Building a business isn’t just about perfecting techniques; it’s 80% mindset. It’s a fast track in personal development, which is why I created the academy and community.
While the insights and exposure were valuable, I began to feel frustrated and saw areas that could be improved. I wanted students to leave feeling confident, ready to treat their first paying clients after making their financial investment. However, with a one-size-fits-all approach, large training groups, and little to no supporting online videos and literature, this was impossible.
When COVID hit, I took the plunge and began creating my vision - a training academy with a difference, and a more personalised approach. One that would give people the tools and confidence to succeed and quickly recoup their training investment.
As a mum of two, juggling business and family, I overcame two severe burnouts in the earlier stages of my business. These experiences were a gift, an opportunity to learn how to run a business more effectively. One that was centred around self-care.
I don’t want anyone else to struggle, and my mission is to help my community of students grow their businesses with balance and ease.
I visited New York, Berlin, and London to train and qualify as a Strala Yoga Teacher.
I’m passionate about personal development and spirituality. It’s my life’s calling.
I love spending time alone, walking outdoors in the forest or on the beach with my cocker spaniel, Mabel.
I’m obsessed with music, always have my headphones on, and love to sing and dance. 80s music is my go-to when I’m feeling sad.
Family is everything to me. My kids, Jack and Ava, are my greatest achievement, and they’ve grown into kind, amazing humans.
